Oversaw and managed development, design and construction during the retrofit of a former restaurant into the new Honey Butter Fried Chicken restaurant.
After assisting with multiple location searches and analyses, Honey Butter’s chef owners and partners, selected a location in the heart of the Avondale neighborhood “Restaurant Triangle.” In order to create the antiqued barn inspired 2,100 sf dining room, kitchen and bar and awesome 2,000 sf outdoor patio, the existing 100+ year old mixed use building required significant renovation to both its interiors, as well as its facade and structure. As Owner’s Representative work.shop performed proforma development, lease agreement consultation, tax incentive consultation, design review, permit and inspection coordination, contractor selection, contract management, tenant fit-out coordination, owner furniture, fixture and equipment coordination, conflict resolution, change-order management, punchlist and close-out services to open this challenging project to the adoring public.
