The Battery Atlanta

Digital Design Criteria Manual (DDCM)

Atlanta, GA

The Atlanta Braves, one of Major League Baseball’s most celebrated teams, built their new SunTrust Park stadium to accommodate the ever increasing demand of its fans.  Knowing that visitors wanted a full entertainment experience both on gamedays and between, contiguous to the new stadium they developed the mixed-use district, the Battery ATL in time for the first pitch of their 2016 opening game.  With 400,000 square foot of retail, restaurant and entertainment Tenants, the Braves Development department, knew that they wanted to take it to the next level by redefining what quality means to the Tenant design and construction experience. As such, they asked work.shop to develop a custom level Digital Design Criteria Manual (DDCM) for the entire centre from scratch.

In addition to the DDCM’s core system functionality which natively empowers responsive mobile and tablet use, rapid search of the entire manual, rich media including slideshows and video, embedded review and comment as well as multi-author editing for easy updating, this newest build will include special monthly site upgrades, administration and support from work.shop to super-power user expereience.  We are honored to have been selected by the Atlanta Braves and to have them as an ongoing client.
