Set-up and managed the Owner’s development, design, construction and retail delivery program for the Midwest’s newest high-end mixed-use center – The Corners.

Bradford Real Estate, a seasoned retail developer from Chicago, saw a unique opportunity in a thriving and growing market sector – mixed use development. Realizing that this complicated project required additional skills and experience, they turned to us to create and implement a program for complete development management, construction management and retail delivery. This included acquiring municipal approvals, negotiating development agreements and contracts with the Town, Von Maur, design-builder and retail tenants, coordinating design and construction of the 420,000 of retail and 250,000 sf of residential apartments and leading the retail delivery process. As Development and Design Manager work.shop performed Anchor negotiation and coordination, municipal approval, project design management, team assembly, Digital Design Criteria Manual authoring, leasing support, lease review, lease abstracting, lease outline document (LOD) review, design review, and plan review to create one of the Midwest’s most complicated and dynamic mixed-use destinations.
