Oxford Properties’ retail portfolio is the envy of Canada and Yorkdale Shopping Centre is one of their premier centres. With the planned expansion of this 1.6 million square foot super-regional shopping centre, Nick and Susie from the Retail Delivery Department, knew that they wanted to take it to the next level by redefining what quality means to the Tenant design and construction experience. As such, they asked work.shop to develop a custom level Digital Design Criteria Manual (DDCM) for the entire centre which not only converted their existing traditional tenant design criteria manual, but integrated the best of the industry from The United States and Canada.
In addition to the DDCM’s core system functionality which natively empowers responsive mobile and tablet use, rapid search of the entire manual, rich media including slideshows and video, embedded review and comment as well as multi-author editing for easy updating, this newest build will deploy one of our newest modules, Tenant Space Tracking. Team members with the proper permissions will now use the intuitive graphic user interface to access and update Tenant Space information with a single click of the mouse or tap of the screen. work.shop is honored to have been selected by Oxford.
